Favouritism

No photos for most of our walk because the camera was hiding under it's raincoat. It's blatant favouritism, what sort of person lets a Silken Princess get wet while keeping a camera dry. When the sun did coma back out, the camera came out too - I refuse to pose now!

Of course some dogs have no principles!

A very brief break in the rain.

This is at the start of the walk, while I'm still dry and happy. Mum says I look silly in this photo but I've seen her running!

We went to a little stream to cool down.

Arghhh my toes are wet... run quick...

Teeheehee If I stand on this rock and look really tall I can make Gem stay in the water forever.

Gem escaped, but I'll catch her.

Humans are funny things

The rain stopped for a little while today so Mum could take her camera out, I have to walk everyday whether it's raining or not but the camera only goes out when it's dry, that's not fair is it!

I practised looking my best, I'm gorgeous from both sides aren't I..

The collies were entertaining as always, notice I'm not watching the ball.

People are funny things, the young humans play a lot and I like to laugh at them..

Sunny Spring continued...

In between paddling we played in the grass, running is my 2nd favourite hobby, and running while attached to a collie is my very favouritest thing to do. I don't fetch balls, but I do fetch dogs :-)

Mum says I'm looking rather gorgeous just now, talk about stating the obvious.

Of course as well as my natural beauty I spend a fair amount of time on personal grooming.....

If only my friend Meg would do the same :-)

Sunny Spring

It was a bit hot for walking too far today so we went to a lovely (secret) spot by a river to cool off. Mum says the only problem with this place is the hill you have to go down, or rather come back up, but it's no problem for those of us with four paws :-)

The collies love to swim, and endlessly fetch their ball. I love the water too, but only for cooling my toes, not too deep. So I hide on the bank and mug them when they get back.

I'm disguised as a pile of branches here...

and then I try hiding behind the tree...

Some cruel people tried to lure me into deeper water by waving cheese in front of me...

They made me go in so far that my tummy got wet! I had to run away really quickly before I drowned!

Tchi is very brave for a hound, and actually seems to like the deep water.

Todays walk

Possibly the last walk for a while to our favourite winter field, the farmer was checking the fences and Mum says there will be sheep there soon. We made the most of the lovely day by playing in the sun, posing and I found something really nice and smelly to roll in - Mum was not impressed!
